A traditional steam launch, based on the “African Queen” river boat.  She was designed and built for a movie filmed on an Eastern Cape river.  Built by “Set Up” set builders in Cape Town, using a core of 20mm Japanese cedar planks with glass skins, this 10.6m launch has open-plan bench seating up forward, with the helmsman sitting aft and covered with a traditional-style hard top for shade.
